The past few days have been extremely windy. This time of year here in central Florida we tend to get strong easterly winds. The fishing however has been blowing me off the face of the Mosquito Lagoon! In other words it has been on FIRE!!! The weather is also turning out to be getting warmer and warmer each day. On top of it it seems over night the water levels have been rising with the southerly wind coming in.
Good numbers of mullet are starting to show up with even pig fish starting to appear. More Bait fish for the fish to eat. Redfish and sea trout are out in very large numbers as well. Saltwater fly fishing remains good as well. Port Canaveral fishing reports have been great. Cobia and tarpon are moving along the beaches as well. Ormond Beach fishing reports have been steady with redfish and trout bite going on.
