February 18th, 2008 Titusville and Daytona Beach Florida Fishing Charters Report

Fishing has been great. It is redfish and more redfish on the Mosquito Lagoon, Indian River Lagoon and the Banana River in the Cocoa Beach, Daytona Beach and Titusville areas. Sight fishing is at its premium. Whether you are fly fishing the Mosquito Lagoon and Indian River or sight fishing the Banana River in Cocoa Beach the fishing is improving as the day goes by. Fly fishing with a shrimp pattern is producing some of the best strikes yet. Sight fishing redfish on the Mosquito Lagoon with a D.O.A. 1/4 oz. Nite Glow Shrimp for outstanding action.

All inshore fishing charters are catch and release world class trophy sport fishing. Zero possession is observed on these waters due to the over fishing from commercial fishing inside the national park in the past decades. Please help stop commercial harvest and bank fishing inside the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge by calling them and say STOP!
