June 12th, 2007 - Port Canaveral and Cocoa Beach Charter Fishing Report

The summer fishing is starting off here in east central Florida to be epic. This why Florida is known as the only place on this planet to catch fish year round. Not just fish but world class sport fishing. The Port Canaveral and Cocoa Beach fishing reports have been just epic! Tarpon fishing is beginning to take off along with the summer time IRL snook fishing here on the Indian River and Mosquito Lagoon. Tarpon will begin to roll all summer long giving you chances and sight fishing them and fly fishing them. D.O.A. plastics are your best option for the summer fishing.

Redfish are feeding aggressively on the Mosquito Lagoon and this is the time to be here and no where else. Mosquito Lagoon fly fishing has been epic. Redfish are feeding on the flats early and giving many chances for redfish on the fly. Seatrout on the fly too are being reported through out the entire Indian River Lagoon System. The Indian River north of Titusville near Scottsmoor and Mims has been great. The west bank along US Hwy One is your best bet during the summer months for trophy redfish.
